Our story begins in the attic of the McBee House on the campus of Ashley Hall. The view from the attic window is actually the western view from Saint Micheals' Church steep. If you click on the thumbnails you will ascend the church stairs to look out over the peninsula to see an area called South of Broad.  Every Christmas Eve, one little angel ornament named Engel would awaken first to watch the sun go down behind the banks of the Ashley River.
